InterPARES
1 comprised seven national, multi-national and globan industry research teams: the
American Team, Asian Team, Australian Team, Canadian Team, European
Team, Italian Team and Global Industry Team. The following archival institutions contributed
co-investigators: The National Archives of Canada, The State Archives
Administration of China, The National Archives of France, The National
Archives of Ireland, The Central State Archives of Italy, The General
Archives of The Netherlands, The National Archives of Sweden, The
Public Records Office of the United Kingdom, The Public Records
Office of Hong Kong, and the National Archives and Records Administration
of the United States. The chairs of the research teams and
the representatives of the archival institutions constituted the
International Team, which was the body determining the intellectual
direction of the research.
Participating
universities were: The University of British Columbia, University
of Toronto, University of California at Los Angeles, State University
of New York at Albany, Georgia Tech, University of Missouri-Columbia,
The Johns Hopkins University, Penn State University, University
of Glasgow, University of Urbino, Monash University, The University
of New South Wales, and The University of Perth. Participating industries
included the pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology industries,
and computer, software, and high technology industries,
all of which were represented through the participation of the Collaborative
Electronic Notebooks Systems Association (CENSA).
