PURPOSE: To define the activities for the genesis and preservation of an agency's archival fonds.

SCOPE (and definition of MANAGE ARCHIVAL FONDS): To control records (archival documents) according to the agency's mandate using the principles of archival science.

VIEWPOINT: Records creator (The records' creator is an agency.)

This model interprets the principles of archival science using the IDEF0 modeling methodology. The reader MUST consult the glossary to understand the model.
